Joe Rapolla is very familiar singer/songwriter around the New Jersey Shore. His debut CD, entitled Listen To This has been very well received. AAA radio stations across the northeast have been giving Joe's music a lot of spins. At WBJB 90.5 FM in Middletown, NJ, he is the #1 requested artist on member request programs. Recently Joe's music has also been getting a lot of attention in many European cities as well as Hong Kong.
His songs have been described as "a unique and seamless blend of The Beatles, Van Morrison, Matthew Sweet and Bruce Springsteen."
Joe's roots are acoustic based. He began performing professionally in college where he toured with artists such as David Bromberg, Aztec-Two-Step, and Steve Forbert.
Joe has played every noteworthy club in the east and has shared the stage with some of the best acts from around, or passing through, the Jersey Shore.
Joe is currently finishing up new material for an album set to release this year. He can be seen performing with his band and acoustically around the Jersey Shore and New York.
